DEBorah F. Sharpe, M.Ed

Founder/ CEO

Sharpe served in the Baltimore City School System for thirty years with continuous promotions throughout her career which included Special Education teacher, Manager in Special Education, Assistant Principal, Principal, and a Senior Cabinet member as an Assistant Superintendent/Executive Director of Principals. During her tenure in City Schools, she served on the Executive Board of the Public School Administrator and Supervisor (PSASA) and was recognized as an expert leader and trainer by the Maryland State Department of Education for her work with “turning around” low-performing schools to meet state standards and increase academic achievement for students with the greatest needs. For two years she worked with the National Board of Examiners to create the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA), which is required by every state for a candidate to serve as principal. Her expertise includes but is not limited to; data analysis, organizational development, executive leadership functions, professional development and facilitation, budget management, administration, and supervisor. 

Sharpe completed her studies at The Johns Hopkins University with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Administration and Supervision; Coppin State University, with a Master of Education in Special Education and Winston-Salem State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a minor in English.

Dr. Dennis provides professional coaching to school leaders on the use of data analysis to improve family-school collaboration. She’s passionate about teaching and learning and her expertise spans early childhood to post -secondary learning environments.

    Hilliard is a graduate of Bowie State University where she received her Bachelors in Psychology. Over 25 years of experience in urban schools special education with diverse learners and those with challenging behaviors. Hilliard has demonstrated her ability to navigate through the laws and processes of special education while ensuring that every child is allowed a free and appropriate public education.
